Using AI Assistants

Juno connects to AI assistants through a secure connector, so you can send and manage guest travel invites directly from chat. Ask your assistant to invite a guest, check which invites are still outstanding, or pull up the details of a specific invite, and it works with your real Juno data.

You sign in with your existing Juno account when connecting. The assistant acts as you: it can only see and do what your role in Juno allows, and every invite it creates is recorded under your name.

This feature is rolling out gradually. If you don’t see AI Assistants in your settings, ask your Juno administrator or contact support.

Connecting your assistant

Every supported assistant uses the same server URL:

You can copy it, along with client-specific setup shortcuts, from the AI Assistants section of your settings: open the profile menu in the top-right corner of any page, choose Settings, then AI Assistants.

ChatGPT

Individual ChatGPT Pro account

ChatGPT Pro can use Juno to read data. Actions that change data, such as sending an invite, require ChatGPT Business, Enterprise, or Edu.

Turn on Developer mode

On ChatGPT web, open Settings, then Apps, then Advanced settings, and turn on Developer mode.

Create the app

Return to Settings, then Apps, and click Create. Enter “Juno” as the app name, paste the server URL, and click Scan Tools.

Sign in with your Juno account when prompted. If you belong to more than one organization, choose which one to connect. After the scan finishes, click Create.

ChatGPT Business, Enterprise, or Edu workspace

Business workspace admins and owners can create custom apps. Enterprise and Edu admins can also authorize developers. If you do not have access, ask a workspace admin or owner to add Juno.

Open Apps

Workspace admins and owners open Workspace settings, then Apps, then Create. Authorized Enterprise or Edu developers open Settings, then Apps, then Create.

Create the app

Enter “Juno” as the app name, paste the server URL, and click Scan Tools. Complete the Juno sign-in prompt, then click Create after the scan finishes.

Connect each member

After an admin publishes Juno to the workspace, members with access open Settings, then Apps, select Juno, and sign in with their Juno account.

Claude

Individual Claude Pro or Max account

Open Connectors

Open Customize, then Connectors. Click +, then Add custom connector.

Add the connector

Paste the server URL and click Add.

Click Connect and sign in with your Juno account. If you belong to more than one organization, choose which one to connect.

Claude Team or Enterprise organization

An Owner or Primary Owner must add Juno before members can connect. If you are not an owner, ask one to complete the organization setup.

Add Juno to the organization

An Owner or Primary Owner opens Organization settings, then Connectors, and clicks the Add button. Under Custom, select the Web option.

Configure the connector

Paste the server URL and click Add.

Connect each member

Each member opens Customize, then Connectors, finds Juno, clicks Connect, and signs in with their Juno account. If they belong to more than one organization, they choose which one to connect.

Developer tools

If you work in a coding tool, Juno connects there too:

Claude Code: run this command in your terminal, then sign in when prompted:

Cursor: use the Add to Cursor link in the Developer tools section of the AI Assistants settings page in Juno, then approve the installation and sign in when Cursor prompts you.

What you can ask

Once connected, try prompts like:

“Invite [email protected] to our September offsite in Austin”
“What invites are still outstanding for next month?”
“What details do I need before inviting a guest?”
“Show me the invite for [email protected]”

When you ask it to invite someone, the assistant gathers what your organization requires (event location, dates, products, and any custom fields), checks the draft against your organization’s setup, and asks you to confirm before sending. The guest receives the same invite email they would if you had sent it from the Juno dashboard.

Creating an invite sends the invite email to the guest immediately. Review the details your assistant shows you before confirming.

Security

The assistant signs in as you and inherits your Juno role. It cannot see invites or take actions beyond what you can do in the Juno dashboard.
Invites created through an assistant appear in Juno exactly like invites created in-app, attributed to you in the activity trail.
If your Juno account is deactivated or removed from the organization, the connection stops working.
To revoke access at any time, disconnect or remove the Juno connector in your AI client.

Troubleshooting

If the connection stops working or tools fail, disconnect the Juno connector in your AI client and connect it again, then retry. If the problem persists, contact [email protected].
