Flight Booking

Juno helps you find and book flights that comply with your organization’s travel policy. The system shows you available options and handles booking while ensuring everything meets your company’s requirements.

Step 1: Searching for Flights

Because your host has already provided the event location and dates, the only information you need to provide is your home airport.

Date Selection & Shoulder Nights

Juno automatically determines the best dates and times to get you to your event on time.

If your host allows, you can optionally select a different departure date and time to arrive earlier or depart later from your event. Juno will show you clearly which dates are approved by your host by default, and which dates will require approval to book.

Companion Travelers

Your host may allow you to bring companion travelers (such as spouses, partners, or children). Select the number of companions on the search page. The interface shows how many companions are allowed without approval; selecting more requires approval.

Step 2: Review Flight Options

Juno automatically applies your organization’s travel policy to the flights it shows you. We also provide top recommended flights at the top of the page for easy selection.

What You’ll See:

  • Flights that comply with your organization’s travel policy
  • Total travel time and number of stops
  • Departure and arrival times
  • Airline and aircraft information
  • Cabin class (economy, premium economy, business, etc.)

Out of Policy Options

You may also see flights that are not compliant with your organization’s travel policy.

These flights are marked “Requires approval.” You can select one, but your host must approve it before booking.

Some flights and cabins may be marked “Not allowed” by your host. These are not bookable.

Step 3: Add Passenger Information

For each traveler, you’ll need:

Required Information:

  • Full name (must match government-issued ID exactly)
  • Date of birth
  • Phone number for airline communications

Optional Enhancements:

  • Frequent flyer numbers (automatically applied for benefits)
  • TSA PreCheck or Known Traveler Number
  • Special assistance requests (wheelchair, dietary needs, etc.)

Juno saves your traveler profile for future trips, so you only enter this information once.

Managing Your Booking

Requesting Upgrades

If you want a flight outside your standard policy:

  1. Select the preferred flight (even if marked as requiring approval)
  2. Provide business justification in the approval request
  3. Submit for review - your coordinator will approve or deny
  4. Wait for decision before finalizing travel plans

Common upgrade justifications:

  • Medical reasons requiring extra legroom
  • Important meetings requiring arrival flexibility
  • Extended travel time warranting additional comfort

Flight Disruptions

If your flight is delayed or canceled, contact Scout via chat or phone at +1 (218) 275-5866. Scout will connect you to a travel agent to help rebook.

Accessibility Needs

Juno supports accessibility needs. When completing your booking, you can request airline assistance for:

  • Developmental and/or intellectual disabilities
  • Wheelchair required for distances within airport but can walk to seat
  • Blind or vision impaired passenger
  • Deaf or hearing impaired passenger
  • Service animal
  • Courtesy assistance through the airport
  • Meet and assist service
  • Does not speak English

For needs not listed here, contact your airline(s) after booking.

Remember: Juno handles booking and payment, but the airline manages the travel experience. For airline-related service issues, contact the airline directly.
